A user only aloud to submit a selection once

Hi there,
I’m building a site where my self and mates can submit bet answers, and I need them to populate into a new page, but I’m trying to set it up so that once someone has submitted an entry they can no longer submit another entry. Unfortunately, I can’t seem to get this part right.

I can log in with different users and we can all choose our bet answers and it will populate on a new page, but I just can’t limit it to one bet only.

If anyone can help that would be amazing, I can provide more info if needed.

My Submit button, I have created a workflow: Sep 1 - Step4.

You can put a condition on the button that says when Has Active Bet is yes, hide the button
