Hello everyone, I received this email from Apple. Does the certificate have to be reissued?
Dear Mario,
Your Apple Push Services Certificate will no longer be valid in 30 days. To generate a new certificate, sign in and visit Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles.
Hey @mario11, I believe someone on the success team may have reached out already, but there is a confusing step in the setup process where the Apple UI makes it seem like you need to create Push Notification certs, but in reality, the APNS key has replaced the certificate on Apple’s side. The Certs that are created in the image below have expiration dates, while the APNS key does not. We’ve updated the docs to make this more clear.
If you have any push notification certs, you can safely remove these and you should no longer receive warnings from apple.
Hi Nick thank you.. yes I had problems creating builds with iOS because of the expired profile and since I was there I went deeper with Nicole (by the way, congratulate her. I think it’s the best support with Louis and deserves to be underlined here) and she explained the same thing to me.
