I have a web app I’m about to release that is effectively a client onboarding tool. It integrates with a CRM used in Australia in the financial services sector via a series of POST to their endpoints that builds out the client record.
I wanted to keep the friction to starting/completing as minimal as possible so have authentication with Google, Facebook and Linkedin as well as the standard UN/PW.
As I’m typing this I feel like I know the answer already but just wanted to ask the community about whether to add reCaptcha on my landing page? There is no email verification (I need them to authenticate to store data on my side and tether them to their related tenant in the CRM) so anyone could come along and enter a UN/PW and start POST data to subscriber’s CRMs.
