The width of the site cannot be changed from 992px after installing the Responsive Engine.Does anyone know the solution?

I’m getting that issue too
It’s not an issue. Your page or outer most group has min and max fields. Just set them and you will be fine. You don’t need a max if you want it to stretch properly.
Please make sure your page is not in fixed layout
