Hello
In my bubble app I’ve used AirDate/TimePicker elements which have recently began showing issues as “missing element“ in all the related workflows.
Here’s the element in design and workflow tabs:
I’ve tried upgrading the plugin, uninstalling and reinstalling it as well. The errors remain.
One thing I noticed is that an element type of AirDate/TimePicker with a different icon is available after reinstalling, but the one that I used previously is not.
Does this mean I have to replace all the original AirDate/TimePicker elements with the new ones? There are hundreds of them and each referenced multiple times in respective workflows.
Any solution regarding this would be appreciated. @ZeroqodeSupport Please advise
Hello @anurag.srivastava,
Thank you for reaching out!
Based on your description and the errors you’re encountering, it seems that the issue stems from a recent update to the AirDate/TimePicker plugin. It’s possible that you were using an older version of the plugin, and when it was updated, changes were made to the element, including a new icon and potentially updated internal references.
As a result, the workflows that were referencing the old version of the element are now encountering errors because they’re pointing to non-existent or updated properties.
To resolve this, we kindly suggest the following:
- Update Your Workflows: You’ll need to manually update your workflows to reference the new version of the AirDate/TimePicker element. This includes replacing any old references in both the design and workflow tabs with the newly available element.
- Recheck Workflow Actions: Ensure that all actions or properties tied to the old element are updated accordingly.
This should resolve the errors you’re seeing, and everything should work as expected after making these changes. If you need any help with the process or have any further questions, feel free to reach out, and we’ll be happy to assist you.
Best regards,

Yes that’s pretty much what we ended up doing. BTW when you mention “changes were made … internal references“, its your agency that made the changes, correct?
Its strange for a plugin to update like this in a breaking way that affected our entire app and made us spend considerable time fixing manually. I’m surprised no one else has reported a major issue like this so far, and even more that this comes from a Gold rated bubble agency.
Thanks for the reponse anyway.
Hello @anurag.srivastava ,
We hear you—having to touch a lot of workflows is frustrating, and we understand how disruptive that can be.
While we don’t have visibility into the exact plugin version you were using before the update, older versions can become incompatible over time due to library upgrades, Bubble runtime changes, security patches, and more. Most updates are designed to be backward-compatible, but occasionally, structural changes are necessary. In those cases, Bubble may no longer recognize certain older element or action references, which then show up as “missing” and require re-binding.
We’re truly sorry for the disruption and the manual work this caused on your end. Thank you for taking the time to share this with us—we really value your honesty and take your feedback seriously.
Best regards,
