Alt description to images - SEO

Hi,
I using a slideshow in my home page cgifinder.com, and I’m looking to add the alt description to the images, but the plugin I’m using doesn’t allow me to do that.

So, it is possible to add the alt description in another way, maybe directly in the database?
I need that for SEO purposes.
