Any way to change states in the responsive editor?

I know you can set states on the element, but it seems like it doesn’t hold when you switch over to the responsive editor. Is there a way to toggle states from responsive mode (beyond the page level ones)?

No. You can hit F12 in Chrome to use the responsive view inside the developer console and (possibly) use the console to change states (?)
