We’re building a custom appointment booking system in Bubble for our clinic. Most of our core logic and data (patients, sessions, therapists, schedules, etc.) live in Bubble, and we’re quite happy with the flexibility for building the platform itself.
However, we’re now looking to implement advanced analytics and dashboards - tracking KPIs like session counts, therapist occupancy rates, patient retention, cancellations, revenue, etc.
We’re considering using Retool to build the internal admin dashboard, while keeping the patient and therapist-facing views inside Bubble.
I’d love to know:
- Has anyone here connected Bubble data to Retool before?
- Did you run into any issues with the Bubble Data API (e.g. pagination, performance, authorization)?
- Did it create significant Workload Unit (WU) overhead?
- Any best practices or tips to efficiently structure queries for analytics?
We’d be very grateful for your input if you’ve been down this path!
