API Connector not passing private parameters

I created multiple working Stripe API calls via the API connector.

When I initialize calls, all the parameters get passed, private included. However in the app, some of the calls are not sending private parameters, nor the parameters entered as plain text in the parameter field during the workflow creation.

The only work around is to enter parameters as Dynamic>Arbitrary text >Enter the parameter value.

I was searching the forum for the solution and couldn’t find anything, so posting this in hopes of Bubble fixing it or others using the Arbitrary text workaround.

if you provide some screenshot it will be much helpfull.

with experienc i can saw, as ll the step runs in same time, some time the data is not ready but still the api get call and thus the parameter is empty. in such cases i either user custome workflow to get then and then return then and then place the api call .

or just reference previous step, but this some time not work.

It’s not about the data being ready, the parameters not being passed are either private (means entered Bubble side in the API connector and cannot be changed via the workflow), or the parameters entered as text in the API workflow field, so static, not dynamic.

Thank you, there’s no need, I made it work by using arbitrary text. I just submitted this as a bug report to Bubble and so someone facing a similar issue can see the solution (work around).

this was really weird , you couldn’t adddynamic value. when you get response do share it here.

just for curiosity, can you check you not make the parameter as long.
