Apiで取得したjson形式の値をdbに格納する方法

こんにちは。
現在外部ツールからAPIで取得したデータ(JSON形式)をデータベースに格納する方法を探しているのですが、ネットで検索しても該当がなくご相談です。

APIで取得したJSON形式のデータをレコード単位でデータベースに格納する方法をご存知の方はいらっしゃいますでしょうか、、？
(例では、PortNo、datetime、statusを１レコードに格納)

APIを取得→RepeatingGropuに表示→表示された値全てをDBに格納、、、
のように考えてみたのですが、上手くできずに困っております。

【APIで取得する値】
“events”: [
{
“portNo”: 0,
“datetime”: “2024-07-13T07:55:07+09:00”,
“status”: “close”
},
{
“portNo”: 1,
“datetime”: “2024-07-13T07:55:07+09:00”,
