App Analytics Setup

Im looking at analytics again for my latest site - Its a business listing site and will get lots of hits from day 1 when i start advertising it (already have the target market ready etc etc hence wanting to setup correct from day 1)

I want click count, time/date and location to be able to give back to our paying businesses as value add.

WU initially to capture in bubble would be ok but calculating back to show on a dashboard will create higher WU consumption.

Anyone set something up like this? Im considering GA or similar but need the data back to show the user.

I don’t recommend tracking all this data in your database it will ramp up the WU in no time.

What you can do is connect google analytics and retrieve data from there using the Data API

You can also take a look at post hog

The data processing is tricky but page views clicks etc are easy to get
