WHEN USING APPEND TO INCLUDE INPUT DATA INTO THE DATABASE, APPEND PREVENTS OTHER DATA FROM BEING INSERTED
THE OBJECTIVE IS TO COMBINE STREET INPUT WITH NEIGHBORHOOD INPUT AND FORM A GEOGRAPHICAL POSITION
That happens because append is acting like a clingy ex. Once it latches onto your input, it refuses to let anything else in. If your street input says “Main Street” and your neighborhood input says “Downtown,” append will just sit there holding Main Street’s hand and block Downtown from joining the database party.
The serious fix is to merge both inputs into a single string before sending it off (for example “Main Street, Downtown”) so they enter the database together like a happy couple.
