Apple app update screen

Hi Everyone,

I recently submitted my app to the Play Store and to the App Store. Google did not care about this, but Apple sure did. Here is their issues with my app. This their message.

Issue Description
The app includes an alert to the user to update the app, but the update button or alert does not link directly to the app’s page on the App Store.

Next Steps
To resolve this issue, please ensure that tapping the update button takes the user directly to the app’s page on the App Store to update the app.

My problem is that I can’t just put a “geit in in the App store” button, because Android users will see the same screen. I tried to add the 2 buttons, Apple and Google buttons, but I am not sure how to hide them and show them with conditions, based on the user’s device. I see a device database that Bubble added, but not sure how to use it to detect the user’s device.

I found a plugin that seems to do the trick. But if there’s another way i would love to hear

Hi @mannylucas10 , i am using this plugin to get the device info to direct the user on the right store. My approach is a bit different, I am using one button but put a conditional on the workflow.

And it’s working great for now.
