Hi- I’m in the middle of using AppText to translate my site to Spanish. I got two questions regarding this process:
1/ How do you guys navigate rich formatting (font sizes, colors, etc.) with AppText?
2/ Spanish as a language is a longer language than English (e.g., Spanish doesn’t have " 's" but uses “of” for possessive phrases), how do you guys manage the overall page space/formatting given the difference, so no scroll bar or a random second line appears due to the site being in a different language?
Talking off the top of my head but
- You just paste the enriched text, i.e. text with [b][\b] tags and so on, in the Language tab, only chaging the plain text. Bubble will automatically interpret the enriched formatting when substituting the AppText version.
- You either account for it by preparing a proper responsive behaviour of everything for slightly longer texts OR reword Spanish translations so they are shorter, even if you have to slightly change the message.
