Thanks for bringing attention to this potential game changer. I will be sharing my experience with this new toolset.

Hi pier2design - did you get a chance to complete the tutorial? Would be great to check it out. Thanks

This is an amazingly helpful thread for me - Iā€™m an AI beginner but really interested in building it into my app. I never even thought we could do things like this in Bubble but searched the forum on a whim. Pumped!

Hi Everyone
Does anyone know what happened to this tutorial? Id like to connect to Monkey Learn.

Cheers

Hi,

I created this post nearly 2 years to the date. Coincidentally 1 year ago, also in May, lobe.ai announced a beta program, a no-code platform for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (reported here by @wfarrell73 ). At the time, I though it would be the ideal tool in combination with Bubble.is. I then eagerly requested to join the beta program. Shortly after, lobe.ai was bought by Microsoft.

To this date I have not received a response from lobe.ai. So my jubilation eventually turned into disappointment. However, I have some hope left that they actually pull through and come to fruition.

If anyone has experience using Bubble.is with other AI platforms, it would be interesting to see their experiences shared here.

My dream project would be to train a model using an AI platform with a dataset, then connect to it via API from Bubble.is. Although the most common application would be a canned solution where you connect from Bubble.is to a pre-trained model offered as a service by some third party. For example; you submit an image from Bubble.is to the trained dataset that could return the ā€œmoodā€ of the image (happy people, thoughtful co-workersā€¦)

I was surprised that Lobe.ai was brought out by Microsoft. I been waiting for ages to get a invite from them. Would it be possible to use something like colab.research.google.com which you can run everything on there then use API to throw the info or data back to the Bubble.is?

colab.research.google.com is pretty cool but you have to be ready to write/modify code which can be in any area, not just AI and ML (machine learning).

Basically anything that has a permissible API you can connect via Bubble.

It is my understanding that Google Colab is way to execute code directly on the browser. This can then be shared and others can modify and create branches, and so forth. The golden ticket would be to mount a no-code engine over this platform. Something that would take considerable resources but yield plenty of disruption.

Hi Rick,

I remember reading your post as well and also sign up for lobe.aiā€™s beta. No word back to date. Check out Azureā€™s ā€œCognitive Servicesā€ https://azure.microsoft.com/en-ca/services/cognitive-services/ . They have a lot of new and cool solutions and they can be easily APIā€™d from Bubble. They seem to be coming out with new solutions on a quarterly basis, lobe is probably embedded there somewhere.

Cheers,
G

Thanks, in fact I had already check Cognitive Services and the thought that Microsoft had canned lobe.ai for Cognitive Services did enter my mind.

I certainly hope not, a human connected interface like that of lobe.ai is way superior than that of CS in my estimation. The designers at lobe.ai are absolute geniuses. Their design is critical (or their approach) to democratization of AI; their stated objective.

For now I plan to play a bit more with CS and will share my experience here for those interested.

it seems me very interesting!

thanks!

Hi, I know this thread is old but I just released a new plugin that implements AI based on the Graph Theory to give you recommendations based on usage patterns in your app. Itā€™s very easy to use also !

Take a look:

Nice Bubbling!

Pelatarion just released a plugin that seems like a good starting point for implementing ML/AI. It got the bubble stamp of approval so it much be a good option.

Thatā€™s quite interesting. Reach us for artificial intelligence applications development.

This sounds like a good way to go
