Authentication Issue: Home Page Accessible Without Login After Pasting URL in a Different Browser

I’m facing an issue with authentication on my Bubble website. I’ve created a login button, and when the user logs in, they are redirected to the home page. I’ve added a condition on the home page that checks if the user is logged in.

However, when I copy the URL of the home page and paste it into another browser, the page is still accessible without requiring login. I believe there’s an issue with authentication because if the user pastes the URL into a different browser, they should be prompted to log in again.

What could be causing this issue? How can I ensure that the user is required to log in when accessing the home page from a different browser?

Can you show us your workflow event and actions that checks if the user is logged in?

First off, you must add the condition to check if the user is logged in in the workflow tab, not the page’s conditions tab

You could do it like

when user is logged out > redirect to x page

Also, do not use states to log in the user. Use the log in user action and redirect to x page

Here it’s a step1. First of all i have used signup button and made changes in workflow accordingly. after that i have used the same button as a login and made changes in workflow accordingly. and if user will login successfully then and then it must redirect to the home page and here it’s working fine. but if i copy this home page url and pasting it in another browser without login then also it is accessing.

It’s because you don’t have a condition to redirect the user to a different page if they’re logged out. As mentioned in my previous reply, you need to add the condition in the workflow tab, not the page’s conditions tab

You don’t have an event to redirect users to a different page if they’re logged out. The third step will always be false since that event will only be triggered when you log them in

but here my 2nd step is always true so when user is logged in successfully only then user must redirect to the homepage otherwise it must not redirect to the homepage.but why if i have used another browser then also it’s accessing.

By default, everyone is logged out unless, well, you log them in. Since you’re not logged in in the other browser, you could always access that page unless you have an event to redirect them if they’re logged out
