Auto-binding with :trimmed

Hi,

How can I autobind something with the trimmed operator.
For example, when a user changes his/her name from “Bob” to "Bob ", how can I autobind that field without the extra space at the end?

Hey!

You can’t actually use the autobind feature like this, but you can trigger a workflow whenever the input is changed, and the user will not be able to tell the difference.

The easiest way to do this is to right click the input element and pick Start/Edit workflow. Bubble wil automatically set up the An input’s value has changed condition for your element, and then you can set up the Make changes to action with any operators you need to edit the text.

Security note: Remember that privacy rules apply to autobinding, but not to workflows, so this is important to keep in mind when you’re planning security for your app.
