Autofill on Input NOT Assigned

I have a form with various inputs for the basic shipping address information

Since I am using a custom setup for a dropdown element to display state choices I am forced into utilizing an input, but that input value should remain empty.

When a user is selecting an autofill option in the input Address-1 the state input value gets added but I do not want that.

I don’t have anything in this input that would specify it as a state input value, but still the autofill fills it.

What is more bothersome is the state and zip code inputs do not get the autofill treatment despite the fact that they are labeled as such

Any solutions for how to ensure the state input labeled as “input” does not get autofilled, but the city and zip code inputs get autofilled?

This is so annoying…I deleted the original input element that was getting the state assigned to it, changed the type to be decimal and it still gets autofilled with the state.
