Anyone seen BDK apps that haven’t been updated in a while crashing immediately on startup on Android devices?
Seen it on at least two apps and trying to work out where the issue lies.
We haven’t seen any tickets about this that would point to widespread problems (yet)
When was the last time you did a rebuild of BDK? I think Android pushed an update that broke old BDK installs.
We had reports from clients about crashes this morning, so we went to investigate. We had been lax in pushing updates because it’s always such a pain (our last one was in '22!). Checked in with BDK, immediately ordered a rebuild, and got it submitted to the Play Store. Waiting on approval now.
