For folks actively running production apps that scan barcodes, which plugin are you using?

I see this topic is frequently debated in the forums, the 2 big ones i see are:

zeroqodes: Barcode & QR Code Reader Plugin for Bubble | Zeroqode
Stuart Bs: QR Code Scanner Plugin | Bubble

I don’t need Bar/QR code generation nor QR code scanning, just bar code scanning to work consistently - on smartphone

It’s entirely dependent on what hardware you’re using. What’s your use case? Are you using actual barcode scanner devices or are you wanting to use a smartphone’s camera?

Which labels are you trying to scan?! If shipping labels, a regular barcode won’t scan due to them changing often or not be actual scannable.

I’ve used this Barcode Scanner for almost 2.5 years and went another route (picture extraction and regex patterns or AI Prompt for extraction.

We do about 1’500/avg a day.

In store barcodes physically on products.

I tried that barcode scanner and it did not pick up the scan enough so I switched to this one: QR Code Scanner Plugin | Bubble

its just hard to get it to actually scan the thing im pointing at
