Best field type to connect database fields to each other?

@iamsalar Hey Salar, in your Udemy course Section 8, Lecture 64, you create a database with chatroom and messages linked.

For the “message” data type you have a “chatroom” field name with a “text” field type.

I noticed when creating my database that you could select the “chatroom” field name to have a “chatroom” field type. Would this be preferable to keeping it a “text” field type?

Hey @topherwilliams,

You can and should do it that way - it gets you access to all the information that comprises the chatroom.

There’s a lot that has changed in Bubble between now and the production of that course!
