Best plugin for scheduling appointments?

Just do select daily availability. Then show timeslots as a repeatable group with buttons.

Hi all,

I have been working a few days on a desktop app, that works on the Calendly principle. But For making bookings for services or non planned / created service slots like most of the tutorials on the net. The template is not mobile optimised yet, so please don’t log bugs for this or tell me it’s net(for a next version), not as polished as most, but this is the good part that i can tell you to look forward too.

You can schedule appointments like doctors, therapists, service meetings anything you want.
Availability is NOT based on pre-populated slots. Its based on the user or company availability.
You can’t book an appointment if one exists in the slot( any part of the slot ) you are selecting. So interview slots will work well with this kind of app too.
Time slots is based on 15 min intervals.
The company lists Services or appointments times they want clients to book them for.
It sends email calendar notifications when an appointment was made and also in-app notifications to users that are booked for appointments.
It creates a client under the company the min an appointment was made with the company.
It supports multiple companies. With multiple employees.
The employee adds his availability between time slots per day. These timeslots are shown in the booking availability screen to the customer. Any slots booked or if the selected service booked has some part of the slot, or all of the select part selected already booked, will not be available to the customer to book. This is ultimately what we want to achieve and not setup slots to pick from to book a service.

So, in essence, a bit of Calendly and CRM.

Hi Jared, Thank you for the feedback. I’m not going to make it public right now, but I would help others on a consulting bases to implement the same type of solution. I have used the same in a marketplace app and enhanced some of the elements, like I am not using a repeating group with a list of available dates, now rather a block with available slots.

We had this problem, reach out to @ambroisedlg for the best option we’ve found - he’s built a fantastic Calendly style calendar/appointment setting system that lets you set block days/times and appointment availability and can help you clone it for your app. It’s a really great solution.

Hey guys. I’ve been working on something as well. It is a combo of an attempt to clone Google Calendar and Calendly in one template.

I posted a while back about the future release demonstrating the Calendar functions HERE

I’ve since gotten through making the Calendly portion and hope to have it submitted to the marketplace by the end of the week.

This scheduling portion has many of the functions of Calendly but not all.

Users can create as many events as they want. The can create multiple schedules and apply a schedule to an event. They can also create a custom schedule for a particular event.

Additionally users can create ‘Alternative Schedules’ for each schedule or custom schedule for an event…this is for those instances when a user wants to change their normal availability to take into consideration personal holidays or days they just need to alter their availability hours.

Users can also create multiple time ranges for a particular day. An example would be the user wants to be available on Mondays from 9AM to 12PM and then 2PM to 5PM.

When creating schedules it is super simple to copy over times from one day to others.

Here are a couple of videos demonstrating the creation of a schedule as well as an event being scheduled.

The video demonstrating an event being scheduled shows two events being scheduled back to back. The first demonstrates the ability for the event creator to designate a buffer before and after an event and those settings being reflected in the list of available time slots for that day.

There are also the functions for the event organizer to view their scheduled events in two different areas of the app…the first would be on the Calendar and the second is demonstrated below (kind of hard to see using the gif)

Template is fully responsive on all devices and orientations.

A few bonus features such as Date Range Calendar for making Bookings and Time Picker.

Could also customize to allow events to be created to allow more than one attendee for freelancers who are holding classes as events.

Does this template handle timezone differences?

Yes. When a user who creates their schedule receives a booking from a user in another time zone both users receive emails confirming the date and time in their respective timezone.

Users who are in a different timezone than the schedule creator will view the available time slots in their relative time zone. So a user who creates a schedule who is in Indochina timezone, is booked by a user in EST time zone (12 hour difference) the schedule creator who listed Monday 10AM availability will be displayed as Sunday 10PM to the user booking a meeting from EST time zone.

Finally finished up the template today, so I got a chance to test out the different timezones and everything seems to work fine. I was able to change my timezone in google chrome using developer tools. I made some test bookings for my local time zone (Indochina) as well as New York and Los Angeles. All three times I choose from the calendar the same date (January 13, 2021). Below are screen shots from my database from the LA and NY bookings, which were made for the same time slot (deleted the …
