Biometric authentication

Any update on the launch of biometric authentication (FaceID, etc.)? Been chatting with several others working on fintech apps that are really dependent on it from a UX perspective. Without it, we’re left with old-fashioned PIN codes or 2FA via SMS.

Mobile plugin editor alpha is now available to everyone!

Hi everyone, I’m Nick, product manager on the Mobile team. Starting today, the mobile plugin editor is available for everyone in alpha. This is a limited release, but we wanted to get it in developers’ hands as soon as possible. What this means for plugin developers You can now build and publish custom mobile plugins for Bubble apps using all React Native libraries Bubble has installed and uses today. Known limitation

Right now, the mobile plugin editor only supports plugins built with React Native libraries already installed by Bubble today. You can find the full list of plugins here.

We’re actively working on bringing all third-party libraries to the plugin editor, and we’ll be in touch when that’s ready!

oh but wait, there are good news. Just checked the internal docs.

Looks like the current Mobile plugin editor is going from alpha to beta next month (September) and when that happens, it will support third party libraries
