Bizarre Duplicated Elements in the Editor

Hi guys,

First time I’ve had this. I have deleted a group that contained an image and a text element, but both still show in the Preview.

Inspecting the element shows the deleted groups name and contents, but searching in the element browser shows they do not exist anymore.

I’ve tried all the obvious stuff, full refresh, closing the tab entirely etc. Any ideas what’s going on?

Hi QIRO! If deleted elements still show in the preview, try refreshing the workspace or clearing the software cache and check for hidden layers or dependencies that might still reference the deleted group. If the issue persists, restart the software or recreate the project to eliminate glitches.

Thanks for coming back to me on this one. I found out what the issue was in the end. The element explorer had duplcated the elements, when you selected one, it selected both?

Whatever you did with one, was duplicted. Deleting both and resotring one resolved the issue. I’ve never seen that bug before, but at least I know what to look for going forward.

The problem is not solved.

Here’s how it looks in my element explorer:

The issue is, deleting one, removes all the workflows, actions and everything connected to the other.

The two elements are carbon copies of one another, and selecting an item in one, selects it in the other.

The editor behaves in the most bizarre way and I’ve no idea how far back the issue appeared, but deleting them and starting again is a huge piece of work.

Duplicate it one more time with workflows and delete the linked ones
