I don’t know a better way to describe this, but has anyone seen this before? I have a page with 3 groups in the root. I deleted one group and then right clicked the second one and clicked ‘group in column’ container and got the wonderful generic “something went wrong, refresh your browser window” bubble model popup.
Did that and it deleted the group that I clicked ‘group in a column’ container. This is the second time this has happened in a year. I just restored from a previous version and lost only an hour of work this time. Last time I lost a day of work and I am more than positive this isn’t user error.
Hey @agiledood Yeah, I’ve run into the same kind of issue. Bubble sometimes throws that error when manipulating groups at the root level, especially deleting or wrapping them in containers. It’s not your fault.
The safest way around it is to make a copy of the page before doing structural changes like wrapping or deleting root-level groups. Also, using the undo rarely helps if the editor crashes, so version backups are your best friend here.
wow, that’s a brutal bug, or as bubble would describe it “a feature”. when I contacted them the support just told me to restore from live as they had no idea what might have happened. Guessing they assumed it was user error.
maybe I’ll make a demo page and try to reproduce to send to them.
