Bubble has been having some problems as you said, but they have recommended not making any changes with the editor because possibly the changes made could be lost.
I have preferred for the moment not to do any work just in case and I don’t think there is a way to recover it, based on what they have said.

I got scared when I realized that none of my applications were in the work area and, when I wanted to create one, it gave me a warning about a bug.
I am guiding myself a little, on whether to work or not, with the page where it indicates the status of the platform. I hope it can serve as a little guide for you.

At the moment, the problems that I have seen that the community has is that the applications do not appear in the work area, the applications that are already deployed have fallen and cannot be used or, what has been your case, that your work has been reverted.

I have only just started using Bubble, I literally started less than a week ago, but the most likely thing is that you have been working precisely during the time that the platform was having these problems and that is why your work has not been saved.

I don’t know if there is any way to contact the platform’s service to try to recover some of your work, at least the versions that could have been saved before the problem occurred.

I am absolutely astonishing that in 2024 that a simple database update by AWS that was apparently incompatibly with the Bubble codebase results in so many Bubblers losing their valuable work. I find it even harder to believe that if Bubble truly had auto-upgrades switched off that an incompatible database update could knock out your whole platform. It appears the resolution was a lazy “just restore to the last backup” before the auto-update occurred. This shows a complete disregard for those …

If you have lost your work and your save points then chime in on this thread. Its unacceptable in 2024 that there is no roll-back plan and to take the lazy option at our expense.

It doesnt matter whether it was minutes, hours or days, this is unheard of in 2024. Surely you took a backup of the databases before just reverting to a stale backup and would take the time to revert the update rather than just wiping out our work? Surely Bubble has a thorough roll-back plan for updates gone wrong.

How can your valuable clients have any confidence in your platform that if anything goes wrong (which is inevitable) that you dont just take the lazy way out and restore to a stale backup. I am truly astonished that this was the approach taken. Surely you at least took a backup of the broken databases before you took the lazy option and will work to roll-back the supposed auto-update by AWS and restore our work?

Form our perspective, we had several developers doing critical updates and our clients work that we have lost. The cost of our developers to redo their work is nothing compared to the reputation damage to our clients.

How can we continue to invest in Bubble for our clients, when you appear to have no roll-back plans for a simple database update when apparently auto-updates is switched off. It doesnt pass the sniff test. I have never experienced a data loss in at least 10 years. It just shouldnt happen. Can we please have some answers to ensure this wont happen again or what compensation are you going to offer for the lazy resolution.

Hi I have already bought a template and designed an app. Also I have few other free templates in my app page . But suddenly this morning I couldn’t open my app, it gives me this error message.
