Bubble Page to PDF - New Plugin from Zeroqode

Hello,

I’m experiencing the same problem recently. I get this error in the debugger:

This is the size parameters of the page I’m trying to convert to a PDF :

And these are the configurations :

Thank you for your help!

Hello @jlaplante ,
Thank you for reaching out to us, we are glad to assist you.

First of all, let me please explain how does the Pagebreaker work. When you assign the ID of the element into the Pagebreaker IDs field (in the plugin action), that means that this element, which ID you have indicated, will appear on the separate page of the converted PDF document. Thus, if you want some element to appear on the new page, assign an ID to it and indicate this ID in the Pagebreaker IDs field of the plugin action.

Your plugin setup should be the following:

  1. place the plugin element on the page,
    enable file uploads there (“yes”);
  2. assign an ID to the parent group, in which your page content is placed (for example, “page”);
  3. separate the content of this parent group into 2, dividing it into 2 pages that you want to have as a result. Name them, for example, page_one and page_two;
  4. assign the “Generate pdf from HTML server-side ConvertortoPDFv2.0 A” action to some button that should trigger the plugin’s conversion work;
  5. in the Convert Target dropdown choose “Single element”
  6. in the ID field assign the ID of your parent group (“page”)
  7. in the Pagebreakers ID field insert the IDs of your child groups (“page_one…”)

Please take a look at the example below and let us know if this solved your issue :

Hope it helps!
Best regards,
Zeroqode Support Team.

Hello @marc12 ,

Please check the reply above as it seems it might be helpful to your case, from the screens you have sent we noticed that you didn’t fill the Pagebreack ids field:

Please read through the steps and screens we showed in the above reply, for additional guidance don’t hesitate to access our Demo page and the Documentation.

Let us know if that was helpful or if you have any additional questions. We are here to assist you!

I am having a problem where the PDF is missing the end of my element.

Here is the page that is being exported:

And here is what shows in the PDF:

Do you have any ideas why the last repeating group member would be cut off? There’s nothing special about that repeating group member that I can tell.

Thanks,

John

Hi @jlaplante ,
We hope you are doing well,

Could you please confirm that you saw my previous message addressed to you?

Please let us know if you had the opportunity to apply the suggestion we made.

If you’ve applied them as was mentioned in the instructions we provided and the issue still persists, would it be convenient for you to provide more details regarding your use case?

Namely, screenshots and screencasts of your workflow setup, plugin element, the issue you see, and the expected result, for screencast recording (I can suggest using the Loom tool).

Please record a video in step-by-step mode with the browser’s console enabled, in case there are any error messages there, and share a link with us so we can understand better your use case.

These details will help us reproduce your setup on our side and look into it.

Thank you once again and looking forward to your reply.
All the best, :slightly_smiling_face:
Take care!

Hi @ZeroqodeSupport ,

I have used your plugin for years but right now this is happening:

Sometimes the generated PDF prints the whole content of my element in two pages, but sometimes it prints just the content that fits in one page (leaving part of the content out of the PDF)

This happens on your plugin version 1.118.0

Can you help me?

Hello @richardfrantzen ,
Thank you for reaching out and purchasing our plugin. :slightly_smiling_face:

Parece ser muito bom esse plugin.
Preciso de um desse, porém o valor em $ para o Brasil fica alto.

Hello @contato49 ,
Thank you for reaching out.

This plugin seems to be very good.
I need one of these, but the value in $ for Brazil is high.

If you are concerned about the price of the plugin you can subscribe and use it for a period before buying the plugin.

If you are on paid plans you can subscribe to a plugin and use it for 1-2 days or any extent of time that you wish- when you subscribe to a plugin you pay only for the actual number of days you used it and not for the full month. The fee is added to the monthly bill (or yearly if you are on a yearly plan), and the amount is prorated. If you subscribe to a plugin for one day you’ll end up being charged for this plugin fee / 30, so if it doesn’t work for you within a few days you can uninstall it and it won’t cost you much.:slightly_smiling_face:

If you are on Bubble’s Free plan, however (or Legacy Hobby plan) you’d only be able to purchase the plugin with a one-time payment.

We hope this was helpful, let us know if you have any other questions.

Já testei um plugin de vocês que era menos de $50 e deu certo.

Vocês não tem mais esse que testei.
Preciso converter em pdf uma pagina e tambem uns elementos de pagina
(laudo, relatórios, etc)

Hello @contato49 ,
We hope this message reaches you in good spirits. :slightly_smiling_face:

I already tested one of your plugins that was less than $50 and it worked. You no longer have the one I tested.

Unfortunately, the rights for that plugin are no longer in our possession.

I need to convert a page and some page elements to PDF(report, reports, etc.)

We understand that the price converted to your country’s currency seems high, unfortunately, this is the only plugin with the possibility to export either the entire page or a specific element in formats such as A4, B5, and more.

As an alternative, you might consider our Bundle plugin this option covers payments, PDFs, file uploads, calendars, text editing, mapping, video, and formatted phone input. You could get more value, depending on your use case of course.

Let us know if you have any other plugins related questions that we could help you with.
Kind regards, :dizzy:

Hello Bubble Community,

We’re excited to introduce a new feature for the Bubble Page to PDF Converter Plugin (1.124.0) — direct saving of PDFs to an S3 Bucket! :tada:

Why It’s Great:

  • Scalability: Utilize AWS S3 to manage and store large volumes of PDFs efficiently.
  • Security: Benefit from S3’s robust security features to protect your documents.
  • Performance: Offload storage to S3 to reduce strain on your Bubble app and enhance performance.

Any idea why I’m getting this gigantic code wall of text when using the plugin? The page prints fine after the fourth page. Using the latest version 1.125.0

Hello @omer3012345,

Thank you for your message. To help diagnose the issue further, could you please try the following steps:

  1. Try Incognito Mode: Sometimes browser extensions can interfere with the functionality of plugins. Please try using the Page to PDF Converter plugin in incognito mode (private browsing) to see if the issue persists.
  2. Provide More Details: To better understand the problem, could you please provide the following information:
  • Page Content: What kind of content are you trying to convert to PDF? Any specific elements (images, tables, etc.) that are included on the page?
  • Error Messages: If there are any error messages, please share the exact text of those messages.
  • Steps to Reproduce: Detailed steps you are taking to perform the conversion.
  • Expected vs. Actual Behavior: What you expect to happen versus what is actually happening when you use the plugin.
  • Inspect Console for Errors: Open the browser’s developer console to see if there are any errors related to the plugin or the conversion process.

Please provide the additional details so we can offer more targeted assistance.

Best Regards,
Zeroqode Support Team.

@ZeroqodeSupport I’m having the same issue, everything is setup correctly as described but the pdfs come out completely blank. What can I do?

Hi @marius2,

Thanks for reaching out!

Could you please provide more details, specifically screenshots/video recordings of your setup, the content of the page you are going to convert and the issue you see? It will help us to understand what might be the issue and provide a solution as soon as possible.

Best regards,

Thanks for the fast reply! As stated in another post in this thread the blank page error might occur when the loader-plugin is running on the same page. That was the case with my site. Removed and it works!

Hello everyone,

We’re excited to announce some new updates for our plugin! :star_struck:

  1. Improved Repeating Group Logic: We’ve implemented new logic to ensure that cells in a repeating group do not get split into two parts. Now, instead of being cut off at undesired places, your repeating group cells will be pushed to the next page! :tada:

  2. New Page Break Inside Avoid field: For those who have charts or other elements that you do not want to be split across two pages, we’ve added a new field. You can now set an ID to keep these elements intact, ensuring they are displayed correctly.

We hope these updates enhance your experience. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Best regards,

Glad to hear you got it sorted! @marius2

Hey @ZeroqodeSupport We’ve been using this plugin for a while now, and we can’t tell which update introduced the following error, but we can’t seem to reproduce this on your demo page:

We are printing a single element on the page, which contains several groups and inputs (more or less like the invoice printing you have in the demo).

The problem is, when the computer screen size isn’t large enough and some part of the element is outside the viewport (you have to scroll down to see it). This part which isn’t visible is being left out of the PDF. We are getting mixed results from our users, since if the screen resolution isn’t large enough, the PDF content will be cut short.

We’ve replicated and copied the WF settings from the demo site to our app and are still getting that behaviour.
