BubbleCon Founder Meetup or Dinner?

I went to the first BubbleCon last year in NYC and loved it. I think they did a wonderful job bringing people together and had some great topics. This year looks to be the same.

The only thing is, I traveled and attended with a friend that isn’t able to go this year and my hesitation is that I don’t want to rely on the networking events to spend my time to connect with others that would be beneficial for me to connect with. Ideally, I would love to meet with other SAAS founders that have built their products on Bubble too. I am not trying to be rude or anti-social, but if I am going to fly to NYC, I want to use the short period of time I have there effectively. while It’s great to meet developers and agencies, I would get more from meeting and connecting with other founders.

I love that Bubble is doing the different “tracks” at the actual event for founder vs. developers and obviously there is still a ton of crossover value, but it would be nice to feel like I am not going by myself and have others to meetup with in similar situations (B2B SAAS founders).

Does anyone know of a specific event of that nature and/or if not would anyone like to get together for dinner or a happy hour? Feel free to send me a direct message if you are or have built your SAAS on Bubble and happy to share mine!

Count me in! I’m in a similar situation - I attended last year with a friend and I’m not sure yet if he’ll be able to attend this one.

I’ll be up on stage at BubbleCon as part of a panel of SaaS business owners who scaled via Bubble so there’s my street cred I think it’s going to be the session titled “How to go from MVP to scaling startup with Bubble” on 10/1/24. I don’t even know who else is going to be on the panel yet

I don’t know if it’ll hurt anyone’s feelings mentioning this but there was a wonderful private meetup for enterprise/dedicated hosting customers of Bubble at last year’s event. I haven’t heard yet if they’ll be doing that again or if it was just a fun thing for the inaugural event. So, pending news of that and when or where it’ll be, I’m wide open for pretty much anything after-hours.

hey all, good idea. Obviously I’ll be in attendance helping at BubbleCon, happy to help facilitate things while I’m not working on the sessions.
The mod on the bubbleio subreddit is organizing a meetup for the evening before (sept 30). That could be fun to attend as well

Thank you so much, Fede! I just saw that meetup post and looks like it will be a great time, but I can’t do the 30th unfortunately. Also, I think even just getting specifically together with just 3-8 other founders for a dinner would be really helpful because we would have some pretty common and shared things we are facing together.

This is a nice idea! I have a few clients flying in to attend BubbleCon in-person who have built successful apps on Bubble (a startup that has recently raised funding as well )
Maybe we can organise this @drew4 - would be cool

All are AI applications - one is a B2C app for analysing data, one is for video generation at scale and one more in the real estate sector
