Bubble's Capabilities

Hello,

I am looking to start Bubble to create an online study planner for students. However, before I get into learning it and invest time into it, I would like to understand how powerful the application is. Since it is no-code, I need to make sure that it is able to run some complex algorithms.

For example, one essential part of my app will be creating an algorithm that ranks different topics in order of which one to study on a given day based on certain factors. Would I be able to create something like this in Bubble, or should I look for an alternative?

Of sorts, if you went through the questions and gave a rank to the user each time they logged in. Bubble isn’t very good at sorting / recommendation algorithms.

The way I’d approach it (and I know because I’ve made an IB question bank using Bubble before) is when a user logs in, if it’s their first visit of the day, go through all of the questions, and give each an arbitrary score based on when it was last attempted, if they got it right etc…

If this is a non-negotiable and there’s no other ways you can get around it, then don’t use Bubble, probably

I see your points, and I’m a little uncertain on whether I should continue. However, I need to create this within quite a short time span and do not have the option of learning full-stack development from scratch (although I very much would love to), so Bubble was the best option I found so far.

If you could recommend anything else, that would be perfect, but there is no problem if not. Thank you for the assistance.
