Bubble's file uploader drop zone is ugly and ineffective

As you know, users have to drag a file physically into the file uploader element, which you can not fully customize.

Has anyone replicated the style of file uploaders that is all over the web? A drop zone that is full screen, where the user can drag the file wherever.
