This message usually appears when Bubble thinks the same plugin is open in another browser tab, window, or device, or when a previous editor session did not close cleanly.
A few things to try:
Completely close every browser window where the Bubble editor might be open (including incognito/private windows), then reopen a single window and go straight to that plugin.
Check if you’re logged into Bubble on another computer (work/home laptop, office PC, etc.) and log out there as well.
Clear your browser cache and cookies for bubble.io, then log in again and try the plugin editor.
Try a different browser (e.g. Chrome → Firefox/Edge/Brave) just to see if the warning still appears.
If this happens only on that one plugin, there might be a stuck lock on Bubble’s side, so I’d file a bug report and share the plugin ID and a screenshot of the popup.
Since you already changed your password and logged out all sessions, if none of the above works it’s likely an issue on Bubble’s side with that specific plugin, not something you’re doing wrong.
