Love the UK. Been there twice.
Iâm in the US here in Ohio where we got snow last year in aprilâŠso still working on Spring ![]()
Donât give up.
Youâve got this whole thread to use in your portfolio. Iâm sure it will pay you dividends in the long run.
I just jumped into the thread. Iâm curious about how far youâll get with it.
I was also very interested on the Bolt vs. Bubble comparison you were holding together with @bubble.trouble.
Keep going! ![]()
@senecadatabase If you fancy saying hi to a fellow Bubbler on your next UK visit, you know who to nudge! ![]()
@ademiguel Thanks! Bolt vs. Bubble comparison was recently settled by Bubbleâs AI announcement. I think it pretty much sums up why Bubble has more value over other AI coding tools.
I was pretty lazy about building anything in past 4 days, maybe because I was out of ideas. But at last, decided to build an HR management tool (I know itâs a boring project, but itâs better to build something than nothing)
Login/Signup
HR Dashboard
Employee Dashboard
Employee add/edit feature
Timesheet
Manage Leaves
Attendance
Settled?! Because they are joining the race years after everyone else and are entering it with ginormous tech debt while leaking their top talent and without a focused missionâŠ
Iâm curious why do you feel an announcment settles anything?
Bubble really does help you build faster, i was able to build a fully working mobile app to help people co partent, manage a calendar, ai chat screening between the two partents. I did all of this in 3 days.
I donât want to duplicate the discussion that is being held in this other (very interesting) thread, but thatâs the current situation.
I keep my interest on seeing properly AI generated code vs Bubble.
You have to understand something: they have a complex full-stack system that has been running for over 10 years, with thousands of businesses relying on it. Implementing something AI-driven in such complex projects takes time.
Take Google as an example - it took them time to catch up, and even now, theyâre still behind. Itâs very likely they will always lag behind OpenAI. If you had to bet on who would achieve AGI first, most people would put their money on OpenAI.
Itâs not easy for any organization, regardless of size, to support an existing system, manage users, and ship new features. (I know Bubble hasnât released much, but they mentioned revamping their entire structure for better performance.) Also, some events happened (the Silicon Valley Bank drama), so there was a lot going on within the company.
So yes, even though they introduced AI features late, it reassures me because they didnât just add AI fluff for the sake of saying theyâre AI-enabled. And for me, thatâs far more valuable than BOLT!
Iâm quite packed otherwise, I would challenge someone to build a complex app alongside Bolt , Perhaps someone else will step up.

Clock in and clock out
@divypratap73 I completely understand as I am quite packed as well. The difference is I can make time for the challenge because it will only take me an hour or so to build a product that will take days in Bubble. Tag me if you find someone up for the challenge.

While I have so much respect for what you are doing, what you are saying is uninformed chatter. Bolt is built by a company called stackblitz. Stackblitz has been around since 2017. Its sophisticated container environment is used by some of the top technology companies in the world. They didnât add âAI fluff for the sake of saying theyâre AI-enabledâ. They built on their existing technology a cleverly integrated LLM chat to produce an amazing product. Itâs also worth noting like Bubble they recently received 100 million in backing, so clearly some people believe itâs not just âfluffâ.
Again, Iâm not here to create an argument, but I do believe itâs healthy to have a fair and informed conversation.
Oh no, that fluff thing I mentioned was for Bubble only, not for Bolt. Of course, they are an AI-first product, so they are not AI fluff. But there are companies that have had products in the market for the last 10+ years, and they have implemented AI here and there in their products and are saying, âWe are AI-enabled.â
@divypratap73 Thanks for the clarification and sorry for misinterpreting your comment!
I understand that and have dealt with all types of production environments. Itâs still just an announcment and doesnât mean anything until itâs been executed. And given Bubbleâs execution the past 2 years and the insanity of making its primary focus native mobile apps A YEAR after AI hit the market, makes that announcment worth even less.
Very cool idea and super strong progress. Just read the entire thread. You really inspire me ![]()
Here are some app ideas although idk if they are fun or doable:
A poll tool for internal use inside a company where employees can create and send polls to clients asking how well they did/how satisfied they where on the last project.
A CSS generation & preview tool
An image editor tool where users can upload an image and the tool would offer many ways to edit it such as: cut it in 4 pieces, rearrange randomly and put it back together. Or apply a kaleidoscope effect or something else. Maybe the users can create or submit their own crazy image editor ideas..
An email designer but just for bubble apps
An image board community
A tool where users can submit ideas for a challenges like this, after a range of time user can vote on the coolest ideas..
Cheers ![]()
Thanks for the suggestion mate, very cool ideaâs
I took your first one and tried to build it as my next app in this challenge!
Couldnât do anything on days 24 and 25. Something came up that kept me tied up the entire time. I felt guilty for two days straight for not working on the challenge. Itâs something that still needs more of my time this week, so Iâm afraid I might not be able to complete the challenge on time but Iâll do my best with every waking minute I have. Anyway, I found some time in the evening on day 26, so without wasting time searching for ideas, I took one from the ideas @hi_bubble shared.

wow hard to believe you are almost at the end of your 30 day journey
I havenât had a chance to build anything on day 27,28 the week was fully packed, and something unexpected came up in schedule. Somehow, managed to complete this app on Day 29. I could have added more functionality, but thereâs no time left in this challenge. With just one day remaining to build the final app, I had to wrap this up with limited features.
