Building plugins versus Toolbox 'Run Javascript'

Hello everyone!

I’m wondering if there are any significant performance improvements of developing Plugins versus using JS to Bubble (workflows) with the Toolbox plugin?

An example may be a simple data transformation, and then returning that value.

Thanks!

If your use case doesn’t involve something super complex I’d say stick to the Toolbox plugin.

If you hit roadblocks with the way the plugin works or it’s limitations for your specific application, that’s when you should consider building your own plugin.
