Button and input field text to API

Hi does anyone have a quick tutorial on setting up a button with a text input. I have it triggering make.com operations when i enter text and press the button but not passing the input field data to make.com.

You just need to use the input’s value in the call to Make (when the button is pressed).

If it’s not working, then there must be something you’re doing wrong…

im following a tutorial but i dont have the setting he does. the body url. have things changed?

Have you set up a ‘url’ parameter in the body of your API call? (and made sure it’s not private’?)

And it’s not showing up in the workflow where you run it?

So i went to check the workflow and clicked on the api and there was the settings box for the body. so i entered in the ‘Input box name and value’ its fixed now thanks for helping!
