Calling an IP Address (ec2 instance)

I keep getting this error, when trying to call my ec2 back end that I have created.

undefined error: this URL is not correct (Invalid URL: http://12.121.12.121:5000/process) http://12.121.12.121:5000/process (ive done this for both http and https)

Does anyone know if there are restrictions on using IP addresses, or if the port 5000 is not allowed? Been trying to figure this out but it seems no matter what I have done it does not work

Can you share any screenshot of errors from bubble and aws
