I want a link element that doesn’t go anywhere (e.g., href=#). But I want the link element because I’m trigger other workflows on page element visibility.
However, it seems the link element itself DEMANDS to go somewhere, there’s no way to stop it, i.e., Link destination & Destination page values will always default to the top item in the list if I don’t select anything.
maybe try #
or current page url
If I set it to go to the same internal page that will just reload the page, which I don’t want
I’m curious why you need a link that goes nowhere?
Why not just use a button that looks like a link, or a button.
Or a group that looks like a button or a link.
Do a workflow ‘when this whatever is clicked’ and then do your other workflows.
Maybe I’m misinterpreting what you’re asking.
I don’t understand the purpose of having to have it a link element specifically.

For me it’s just about keeping the styling features of the Link, so I dont’ have to duplicate styling features across a Link and then a Button, and then have to remember to change both if I wanted to make a change down the line.,

Ok, I read your comment wrong. Sorry and edited my reply.
You can create your own style in the style guide. Just a thought. And attach that style to your fake link.
Anyway, I hope you find what works for you.
