Hello Everyone !

I’m having a problem.

I’ve created a “conversations” object that allows me to create a conversation between two or more individuals. This conversation object has a “Users” field, which is a list of users and enables me to group together people having the same conversation.

I want to display the names of the users in the conversation (except mine) on the side. But when I run the test, only the name of the current user is displayed. For example, here I’m having a conversation with Miguel and Lola. If I’m logged in as Lola, the Users list will read: ” ,Lola” and if I’m logged in as Miguel, the Users list will read: ‘Miguel, ’. The other person’s name won’t be displayed when I’m logged in as the other user. Both the users are in the list of users in the conversation record.

The other fields work, but only this “Full Name” field doesn’t. For example, I’m also doing the same mechanic with profile picture, and its working great.

Privacy rules

Use the inspector element in the debugger to inspect the list…if you see red indications of privacy rules affecting data than it’s privacy rules and the alert in the inspector will help identify which fields are inaccessible as it could be privacy rules on the user data type or the conversations data type.

Once you start using inspector tool in debugger it makes very easy to spot when expected values do not show because either data is missing from DB, the search constraints are wrong or privacy rules are affecting data retrieval/visibility.
