Can't format followers to show/hide correctly

I am trying to get the followers formatted to show 1.2k or 1.1M rather than 1,200 or 1,100,000 and I am having issues.. will attach photos for reference. If I try to put formatted as text it won’t allow me because the number formatting pops up, which seems like that’s where I’d need to be but it’s apparently not… so I try to do it by Followers (Current page’s User’s followers:count:/(1000000):rounded to 1 + “M”) but the dynamic isn’t allowing me to enter a number after the /… frustrating

Just use Arbitrary text, type the number, and apply :converted to number operator to it.
