Can't make change to a thing like deadlock

Hello everyone in the community,

I wonder if anyone has encountered a similar issue. Occasionally, some of my things cannot be changed by the “make change to thing” action. Whether I run it directly or through a backend workflow, I get an “action condition failed” log message. I can retrieve any value from it, but I just can’t make any modifications.

However, if I manually modify any value through the admin interface, the thing can then be modified (without changing any workflow conditions).

This is really a frustrating problem. Has anyone encountered this or have any suggestions for a fix?

I get an “action condition failed” log message.

What exactly is the condition on that action - i.e. what’s the expression?

Also, it’d be helpful if you could provide more detail / context, such as a screenshot of the workflow containing the action.
