Canvas template emails flow - unclear

I am using the Canvas template by AirDev. Does anyone know why there is a message indicating that the email has been sent, even when it has not? For example, I have set Polish as the default language, and I haven’t configured the templates in Polish. Despite this, I receive a message saying that the email has been sent during the password reset process, even though it hasn’t been sent. It only sends when I add the Polish version of the template. Why is this asynchronous? Why this is so unclear ? Are any reason for that kind of aproach?
