Change Checkbox Value For Input

Hi, fellow bubblers,

I need a bit of a sanity check as I’m not sure the best way to approach my checkbox problem in Bubble.

Current Problem

I’m using checkbox’s to provide outputs for an API search. As seen on the left.

I can get it to work with 1 checkbox being clicked as I simply change the boolean yes by formatting text to my required result, in this case, it would be Asian for the first checkbox.

The trouble starts when I want to have more than one selection as an input. The or operate is not available.

I’ve seen a few people mention custom states for other solution but this does not seem to be working for me.

Really appreciate if someone can sanity check me or has any idea’s how I’d get this to work.
