Change Cookie expiration date for non logged in users

Please is there a way to change the default cookie expiration date for non-logged-in users?

It’s currently 3 days and I wish to make it a few years in the future.

You can’t do a few years as most browsers auto expire anyway, for example, safari is 24 hrs unless you revisit the site within 24 hrs then I believe it’s 30 days.
