Changing Device during signup Process

A link is auto generated to invite users to my signup page. Everything works great! Except when you click confirm email on one device then check your email for the confirmation email on a different device. Example: Click a button that sends the “confirm email” email from your phone. Then open up the email from your computer, click the link to confirm email, get redirected. If you are on a different device than where you started it breaks.
