# Changing product categories on stripe

Greetings, i am trying to change the product categories for the seller and unfortunately still have no direction to change the list using merchant\_category\_code(MCC), anyone can help me fast with this issue?

**Side question:**  
What is the specific or the right interpretation market type for this categories? freelance, retailing… etc, the most specific market.

Connecting this parameter on not private, can change the category  
-d “business\_profile[mcc]”=5734 \> example
