Choice Source search filtered by character count of field

Hi there,

I’m using a dropdown and want to show only options where a certain field contains less than 50 characters.

How would I go about doing this. I have a “Series” data type and a “Description” Field. I want to only show Series in the dropdown where the description contains less than 50 characters.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would add a field of type number to store the number of characters of the “certain field” when the Thing is created
