Collapse Repeating Group but keep overall group size

All,

I have a repeating group (red) within a group (green).
The repeating group collapse via ext. Vertical scrolling.

BUT therewith the total hight of the overall group (green) callapses as well. This should keep its size.

Any ideas?

in this scenario i will just add a element shape on the left or right side, then make the background color transparent.
like this:
