Hey! Ițm facing an error which I dont understand. It seem like Bubble doesnt notice that I already typed in an expression in my conditional.
are you sure that the expression is complete? does it resolve to a yes/no in the end?
Yes, it does! And i have this same issue with more conditionals, which are structured differently
I’ve had this before, it’s really annoying. Most of the time a page refresh fixes it. Failing that, clear your caches.
Also, make a bug report. Just link this forum post in the description instead of explaining yourself again. You’ll probably get a reply saying they can’t reproduce the bug but oh well
are you sure that parent group’s size is a text? Or is it the display name of an option set?
you can send a bug report, but don’t link the forum post instead of filling the form. You can always add it as an extra info in the last section.
Good reports have more chances to get good support.
The expression composer is blue, meaning the expression is (supposedly) valid. The issue is with the issue checker, for whatever reason, remaining convinced that the conditional expression is empty.
Also there’s no more information he can give other than what’s here - it’s not our job to debug Bubble, it’s Bubble’s job. No matter how detailed the report is, if it’s a bug the team can’t consistently reproduce it just gets thrown into the pile of issues that Bubble pretends don’t exist.
Thank you for your help!
part of the form is information to reproduce the bug so…
What I do with bugs is this: if I can’t be bothered to fill the form I find a workaround, if the bug has a big impact on the apps I manage or the security of the platform I make sure to give all the informations requested and recreate the bug in a test app with minimal setup. It works well for me, of course you can have a different approach.
