Configurable Product for Invoicing Line Items

Is it possible to make a system for invoicing? I need to make each line item on the invoice configurable with Materials and products based on sq ft and labor hours. Also I would like to create job tickets off these line items. Is this possible? I currently have a system but I am looking to make something more tailored for my business.
