Conflicting DNS Records for Bubble App and Webflow Website

I’m experiencing problems with my DNS settings. My Bubble app is hosted under the subdomain www.app.totalsportshub.com, while my main website is under www.totalsportshub.com. When I configure the DNS settings to include all the necessary IP addresses, only one service works at a time. If I remove the two Webflow IP addresses, my Bubble app functions correctly, but I receive an error from Webflow indicating that the IP addresses are missing. However, if I add those IP addresses back to the DNS settings, my Bubble app stops working.

Initially, I used Squarespace to host my domain. After encountering these issues, I started using DNSimple to manage the DNS records. Unfortunately, I can’t transfer my domain from Squarespace yet because it hasn’t been 60 days since it was created.

Anyone able to help me out with this?

Any chance it would fix this and not create new problems if you host the bubble app at totalsportshub.com/app instead?

I see that you have a CNAME (app.totalsportshub.com) pointing to totalsportshub.com. I don’t think that’s correct. Your app domain, app.totalsportshub.com, should only have A entries pointing to Bubble’s IP addresses.

And your A entries to totalsportshub.com should only point to Webflow addresses.

Thank you for replying, on here and Reddit, lol

Ok, so delete the CNAME (app.totalsportshub.com) pointing to totalsportshub.com and I should be good?

I can’t be sure as I don’t know the other DNS records you have in place. Running a test over here, I see you have no A entries for both of your domains.

Ok, looks like all the A records are working! You were right about the CNAME for the app. Thank you!

Cool! I just saw that it’s now working!
