Data saving system

Hi! I’m making an app, and one of the fields in the data type “user” is “publications”, wich is a list of publications.

In the publication it self, it has a title, descriptions, pictures, etc.

My question is that, when I create a new publication and then add it to the user, does that mean that the publication will duplicate in the data base? or bubble just asociate the publication with their unique id???

I’m having trouble understanding this, please someone explain it to me!!!

Hi there, @benjabarrixd… in short, the act of adding a publication to the publications field on the User data type will not duplicate the publication… it simply creates an association/link between the user and the thing in the publication data type.
